About the Role and Skills:
We are looking to hire a sincere, capable and honest individual to work alongside our Managing Director. The role comprises mainly accounting and operational responsibilities
The person should have a good eye for detail and a good understanding of numbers. He/she will be able to manage company accounts, interact with the company CA and liaise with relevant Government authorities for meeting compliances. This individual will have good oral and written communication skills in Marathi and English. Ability to communicate orally in Hindi is required
Prior experience of working in a dynamic team environment is essential
Prior experience in MS Office and especially in Excel is a must
Willingness to learn, understand and work on different technology tools to accomplish the job effectively is a must requirement
Responsibilities:
- Manage bookkeeping and company accounts using Tally:
- Raw ingredient purchase, seed purchase, seed sale
- Manage company expenditure
- Maintain daily transaction book
- Enter RTGS/NEFT/IMPS transaction detail on internet banking portal (maker mode)
- Take transaction confirmation from the Beneficiary
- Sending account statements to Dealers as per requirement
- Claim GST/TDS/ Professional tax as per government guideline
- Communicate with the CA for all matters related to accounting
- Instill discipline on accounts receivables/payables and make sure customers pay the due amounts on time
- Initiate/manage debt recovery process as and when required
- Manage inventory and take stock details from Dealers at regular intervals
- Maintain all vouchers, bills, circulars in office
- Manage employee payroll
- Manage farm expenses of each crop
- Handle compliance and reporting needed for State Seed License
- Liaise with the relevant Government authorities (for example, at a District level for seed testing)
